Our Dental Care Approach

The latest Dental Technology and Sterilization Techniques

Your safety is as important to us as it is to you. That is why we make an extra effort to sterilize our operatories.

We Use a Special Rinsing Solution

Water isn't sterile enough! We use chlorhexadine, an antibacterial liquid, to wash hands and irrigate exposed mouth tissue.

Giving an Operatory Time to Become Sterile

In any dental office, the hygienists' operatories are the most susceptible to contamination, because hygienists work on all the teeth and not just one tooth that needs repair.

It isn't enough that a hygienist wipes down the used operatory with sterilizing agents. Sterilizing agents take time to work.

For this reason, Dr. Jones has gone to the expense to keep two operatories for each hygienist. While one is being used, the other is sitting vacant as the sterilizing agents do their work.

When you arrive for a cleaning and checkup, you can be assured that the room is truly sanitized.

Turning Up the Heat on Germs!

All items exposed to patients are either disposed of or baked in an autoclave oven. The temperatures in the autoclave are high enough to kill germs and sterilize instruments.
